iZOMBIE’s Gwen Dylan gets the deluxe statue treatment

Based on the designs of Michael Allred, this 9 inch statue will help you take a bite out of the world of the hit Vertigo series iZOMBIE! Phil Ramirez sculpts this uniquely designed piece, featuring protagonist Gwen Dylan. Dylan is a zombiefied grave-digger in an eco-friendly cemetery who must consume exactly one human brain a month to stave off her cravings for flesh and retain her own memory. Kind of a complicated way to live, huh? An alternate head allows you to switch between “zombie” and “human” visions of this gal. She seems normal… but she’s far from it! Preorder her now to grab her in November.

Just your average quasi-zombie gravedigger lady.

The Sandman: Overture’s Dream gets the statue treatment from DC

It’s been 25 years since the New York Times bestselling author Neil Gaiman flipped the comics universe upside-down with The Sandman. Now, DC and sculptor Dave Cortes collaborate to produce this incarnation of the famed figure from the Vertigo Comics prequel series The Sandman: Overture. The design on Dream of the Endless is lush, and this black-robed vision is over 11 inches tall. Shown morosely and contemplatively making his way down a set of stairs leading into the infinite, the Sandman protagonist will inspire melancholic reflection and spark curiosity alike amidst the other prized pieces of your collection. Don’t let him wander too far off into the darkness.

Enter Sandman.

Dr. Manhattan

The first thing you notice about this new Dr. Manhattan figure is probably the awesome articulation, perfect for whatever posing you can imagine for Big Blue. The second thing is the amazing sculpting. If you’re a fan of the comic and want something truly awesome to take home, you’ve found it! Check it out:

Despite their popularity and massive critical acclaim, Vertigo characters don’t usually get their due as action figures, statues or any other such merch, but at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, you could at least get your hands on a brand new rendering of DEATH.

Some envision Death as a grim reaper or dark angel to be feared. But as created by Neil Gaiman for DC Comics’ line of Vertigo comics, the Sandman`s older sister is pretty, perky and always gets the job done. She’s been around since the beginning of time and is exactly the kind of girl you’d want to follow into the unknown. Our 8” figure of Death wears her trademark ankh necklace and comes with a skull-themed display base. The dioramic window box packaging and separate shipper box are dressed with artwork commissioned by Vertigo artist Jill Thompson.
