She’s stronger than you. Accept it. Take a look at the DC Collectibles Premium Format Power Girl statue figure, a 21-inch creation by Sideshow. Her aesthetic here is based on original artwork by pinup artist Stanley “Artgerm” Lau. Endowed with the powers of Krypton, Superman’s strong and sassy cousin is ready to rock, flaunting her physique in her distinctive red, white and blue costume.
Expertly crafted in polystone by Sideshow’s artists, Karen Starr makes a lasting impression as Power Girl, standing tall over the battle-torn streets of Metropolis. Your DC Comics and Justice League collections won’t be complete without her. Get your order in now with the button below.
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import, this DC Comics Bishoujo figure captures Power Girl and gives her an anime-style twist.
Kotobukiya’s fine craftsmanship is apparent in the heroine’s powerful musculature and costume’s piping, not to mention the way both her cape and hair float in an unseen breeze. Of course, no statue would be complete without a Bishoujo-inspired face, and Power Girl’s is absolutely adorable as she gives you a big smile!
Standing nearly 9 inches tall (1/7 scale) on an exclusive display base, Power Girl was sculpted by Tsukada Takashi.
The new 9-inch POWER GIRL statue has arrived! From the “Cover Girls of the DC Universe Collection”, the super-powered knockout with the famous costume “window” looks proud and strong as she poses with her hands on her hips, seemingly ready to take on whatever villainy might throw her way.
As the cousin of Superman, Power Girl packs quite a punch as one of the heaviest hitters in the JSA. And now, she stars in her own smash-hit monthly series, further increasing her popularity and cementing her place as one of the greatest superheroines of all time!
A hand-painted statue that comes with a certificate of authenticity, Power Girls appears in the pose she struck on the cover of POWER GIRL #2 and is part of a limited run of statues–so make sure you snag yours now!
Power Girl as drawn by Adam Hughes comes to tangible life in this new DC Direct 12-inch statue from their Cover Girls of the DC Universe (see the whole collection of DC statues and collectibles here). The nuances of his art (originally for the cover of POWER GIRL #2) are really impressively rendered here, from the curves of the fabric in her cape to the arches in her dark eyebrows and the way her hair moves in the wind. A beautiful piece by one of the most talented artists around. She’s available for pre-order now and will be shipping in September, so be ready if you want to snag this one!
And continuing with the Hughes/DC stuff, November brings another of the DC Universe’s women when a new Batgirl statue arrives. Shown untangling her grappling hook with all the heroism of a 50s pin-up, she’s not exactly the brash, bold Power Girl above, nor is she much of a dignified entry to the Bat-family. Frankly, I’d like to see a statue of Batman immortalised with a coquettish look and a fouled-up tool from his utility belt, but I think I’ll have to wait on that. For now, here’s a look at the 12-inch statue!
To some, anime is the worst thing to happen to the comic book world, infiltrating it with an unwelcome aesthetic and rabid fanbase the non-manga-readers want no part of. But to others, anime complements the world of Western heroes and brings the characters to life in a completely new way while still maintaining the core sensibilities.
These are toys for the second group.
