New Retro-Action DC Doll Figures have arrived! Wonder Woman, Cheetah, Captain Cold and the Flash are here as 8-inch plush-and-plastic action figures that fans of the DC Universe are sure to enjoy.
They join the likes of Batman, Two-Face, Green Arrow, Black Manta and a bunch more of these old-fashioned figures. They look great and really help you get a feel for what comic book fans of yore enjoyed.
The SDCC Exclusive Peter Venkman is the newest addition to our Ghostbusters collection, but styled as though he’s the oldest.
Based on the MEGO figures of yesteryear, which are currently making a comeback, this is a great item for collectors seeking something a little off-the-beaten-path–especially if they missed out on the 2010 San Diego Comic Con! Standing about 8 inches tall, it’s part plastic and part plush but still comes with the classic proton pack and, as a modern touch, speaks when you press the button on his chest! In a voice accurate to The Real Ghostbusters, he speaks four lines from Episode 11 of the classic cartoon, “Citizen Ghost”.
Based on the MEGO figures that were popular in the 1960s, DC Direct has released a line of plush and plastic figures that capture the retro spirit for a new generation: Mattel’s new World’s Greatest DC Heroes. The first wave included Superman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Sinestro and Lex Luthor and, now, a whole new series of heroes and villains has arrived!
Each one stands (or is propped up!) about 8 inches tall and they match the original style of the figures right down to the old-fashioned packaging. Here’s a look at what you can pick up, both individually or as a full Series 2 set!
