How many chances do you get to fulfill a real childhood dream? Well, here’s one! Check out the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Kylo Ren Force FX Deluxe Lightsaber, a novel offering from Hasbro’s Black Series. Here, the series diverges from its usual six- and 3.75-inch fare to bring us a life-size movie replica accessory.
This lightsaber comes loaded with tons of realistic features, such as realistic light effects, authentic movie sound effects, a real metal hilt, a display stand and instructions so you don’t inadvertently take out a friend or family member with your new intergalactic weapons capabilities (very necessary). Order it now! We’ve also got Darth Vader’s and Yoda’s lightsabers, too!

A word to the wise: Don’t mess with exceptionally-tall guys in wheelchairs traveling with walking canes — especially when those canes just so happen to resemble fully-deployed Star Wars lightsabers.
When Star Wars’ Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew, 69 — who owns such a cosmetically weaponized cane — attempted to pass through Denver International Airport’s security checkpoint last week, Transportation Security Administration agents there apparently tried to confiscate the 7-foot, 2-inch tall actor’s, umm, cane-saber despite his explanation that he needed it to walk, reports Fort Worth, Texas NBC affiliate NBC 5.
Mayhew, who was traveling back to his home in North Texas last week, was eventually allowed to board with cane intact, but not until he’d posted about the kerfuffle to his more than 27,000 twitter followers from his account, @thewookieroars. (Tagline: “The OFFICIAL twitter of Actor, Author & the man behind the mask of CHEWBACCA! This is where The Wookiee Roars… and Tweets!”)
TSA later emailed CNN.com a statement explaining its version of events: “Because of the unusual weight of the passenger’s cane, a security officer alerted a supervisor. Less than five minutes later, the passenger and cane were cleared to travel.”
It’s amazing what you can do with a copy of Adobe After Effects, a decent computer, a cat, a dog, a couple of hours and a sincere love of Star Wars, isn’t it?
Just take a look at this epic battle between a pitbull and a Jedi cat. Well, we say it’s a Jedi cat – now we come to think of it, it’s probably a Sith cat. You know, with cats being evil and all.
There they go, scrapping away when suddenly – ‘pshooom’ – a pair of lightsabers ignite from the cat’s paws. Then, it’s the dog who’s on the back foot, looking like the bravest pitbull ever to take umbrage with an animal of a feline persuasion.
Plainclothes warriors join the battle among Jedi and Sith in the first ever lightsaber freeze mob duel in the heart of New York’s Times Square. Watch as over 100 fans joined the battle to celebrate the launch of STAR WARS™: The Old Republic.
