First wave of Batman Animated Series is crashing Christmas

Many of us have fond memories of two beloved TV shows that aired during the epic decade that was the ’90s — Batman: The Animated Series delighted audiences at the beginning of the 10-year span, and The New Batman Adventures dominated the late ’90s. Appropriately so, DC’s new line of toys based on these two TV series has been hotly anticipated.

We’re stoked to introduce the first wave of Batman Animated Series figurines, each measuring six inches tall and with multiple accessories in two. Pictured below is the incendiary Catwoman, but we’ve also got Batman currently in stock. Mr. Freeze and Two Face will be arriving in January, as will the second wave of Animated Series characters. But all of the not-yet-in-stock stuff is available for preorder, so get your name in ASAP!

And here’s some more Iron Man news, this time about Jon Favreau’s upcoming sequel to last year’s awesome film. This news comes from Worstpreviews.com

Many of you have already seen shots of Mickey Rourke as the villainous Whiplash from the upcoming “Iron Man” sequel. But the suit he’s wearing is one that will eventually become a bit more advanced. But what exactly will it look like?

While we don’t know for sure, Marvel’s new four-issue of “Iron Man vs Whiplash” comics series may give us an idea. It shows the character in a full-body suit, including a mask, battling Iron Man. Check out the shots below.

The first issue is due out on November 4th and the “Iron Man” sequel, directed by Jon Favreau, is set to hit theaters on May 7th, 2010.
