Pre-order now! Coming in June, we’ve got the third series of Gears of War 3 figures from NECA! Journey’s End Marcus (with gold lancer), Savage Theron (v1) and Savage Theron (v2) and a COG soldier make up this group, which you can snag individually or as a complete set. Each figure boasts the amazing detail and design you’ve come to expect both from the game and the geniuses at NECA. They join a still-growing line of 6-inch figures that will help fans with the wait for the inevitable fourth installment.
If you’re not brought to tears of laughter while watching Han Solo, Lando Calrissian and some Cloud City employees perform an impressive dance to a parody of Jason Derulo’s “Ridin’ Solo” called “I’m Han Solo,” the Force is so not with you it’s not even funny. Really, this thing is way beyond Jabba the Hutt’s house band singing a funk song in the “Return of the Jedi” Special Edition.
When originally announcing the game, LucasArts said that gamers will be able to bust a move “Solo style” in the “Galactic dance off” portion of the game. Now we know what they had up their sleeve, and it’s experiment sure to infuriate some, delight others, but surely captivate anyone who’s ever seen a Star War.

Imported from Japan, the Play Arts Kai series figure of HALO’s MASTER CHIEF has finally arrived. In celebration of 10 years of Halo (I know, I can’t believe it either!), there’s a brand new rendering of the series’ protagonist and it looks amazing. Standing about 9 inches tall, he’s not just an amazing sculpt with tons of game-accurate detail, but impressively articulated and packing serious heat.
With the original HALO now remastered and ready to go, it might be time to give your display shelf an upgrade, too. It’s a high-end toy and one tailor-made for collectors, but it’s been 10 years and, come on, you’ve earned it.
Looking for the perfect gift for the Gears of War fan in your life? Well, why not snag this awesome prop replica, the BUTCHER CLEAVER. It’s a whopping 36-inches long and looks to be ready for a fight. If you’re looking forward to next Halloween–or maybe just a Comic Con floor–then you’ll definitely want this one.
This is just one of the awesome products making up our complete GEARS OF WAR COLLECTION. If you’re into the game, you definitely won’t want to miss out on any of this stuff! The cleaver is now available for pre-order and will be shipping in November!
Who better to watch over your change than HALO’s Master Chief?
The Master Chief Bust Bank captures the awesomeness of the Halo hero and gives him a break from fighting the good fight, allowing him to rest on your shelf and keep a close eye on your spare change. A Diamond Select PVC piece, it’s brilliantly-sculpted, features some really impressive detailing on the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark VI and really does the games justice. UNSC approved!
Kat, Carter and Jorge are the latest figures from Play Arts’ KAI SERIES of HALO:REACH Figures. The Kai lines are Play Arts’ deluxe collection, boasting extra high-detail design, a ton of great accessories and a larger-than-usual size of about 8 inches. As per usual, you can grab these guys as individual figures or as a complete set of three. They join the first series, which included Jun-A266, Emily and, of course, Noble Six him or herself.
Now, some Halo fans weren’t thrilled by the ending of Halo:Reach (and we’ll spare you the spoilers here!) and if you were among them, then you might like this Machinima video…
The sixth wave of GEARS OF WAR figures has arrived and it looks more insane than ever:
The Figures included in this series are: Skorge, Kantus Priest, Boomer Mauler and COG soldier, each one boasting an extremely high level of detail, the kind you’ve come to expect from NECA. The character design in the games is so distinctive and the figures are equally stunning, bringing to your toy shelf the intimidating and occasionally terrifying look of the franchise. Shipping in March, these 6-inch figures can be purchased individually or you can take advantage of a savings of $11.85 by snagging them as a four-figure set.
And if you’re a fan, you might be pleased to hear that Epic is in the process of finalizing content for the beta release of GEARS OF WAR 3! Check this out from Attack of the Fanboy:
Mike Capps of Epic Games recently spoke about the upcoming Beta for Gears of War 3, and what may or may not be included in the trial period. “We know that the Gears 3 beta access codes will be highly sought-after, so our most passionate fans will get the inside track. The beta starts in the spring and, honestly, we’re still debating what exactly is going to go into the beta so fans will want to be there from the very beginning to see how it evolves and grows,” stated the developer.
Personally, I think Gears has an awesome formula for online multiplayer. The biggest problem that I had with Gears of War 2 was the actual functionality of multiplayer and playing the game outside of with a group of friends. Incorporating a matchmaking service for features like the Horde Mode that actually works, is key. The Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Halo Franchises do this really well. It’s also probably why they are so popular. You can pick up any of these games at any time, friends online or not, and find a game with no hassle within just a few moments you are in on the action. This is something that wasn’t possible in Gears 2 until long after the game’s initial buzz wore off.
And finally, if you still haven’t gotten your hands on the games, here are the Amazon links you’ll need to get ’em, or pre-order the third!
