The Mistress of Magic arrives as a 7-inch porcelain statue from DC Direct. Based on the art of Jim Lee, it showcases Zatanna as she appears in DC Universe Online, the MMO drawing thousands of fans together into a virtual hero- and villain-filled world.
Hand-painted, cold-cast in porcelain and measuring approximately 7″ high x 4.5″ wide x 3″ deep, this statue is packaged in a 4-color box.
It seems worlds away, but you can now pre-order two new Ame-Comi ladies and be ready for Halloween in advance!
Halloween Zatanna and Stealth Cheetah stand about 9 inches tall and are formed of high-quality PVC, based on designs from DC artists giving their work a great anime twist. Zatanna is clad in a new orange-and-black ensemble as she pulls a bunny monster out of her upturned hat. Cheetach, meanwhile, escapes the eye of her arch-nemesis, Wonder Woman, in a skin-tight black stealth outfit. Both look stunning and make great additions to any DC fan’s display shelf.
Solomon Grundy and Zatanna are the two latest additions to our pre-order page for the DC Universe Online statue collection, which brings your favourite characters from the upcoming MMO to your display shelf. All the statues look rad and feature expert sculpting, details and paint-work. If you’re a fan of DC’s best and brightest, then look no further!
And if you want to see a little more from the game, then perhaps you’ll be interested in this week’s unveiling of Harley Quinn, and a little of what we can expect from her. Kotaku has the news!
Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel was an Arkham Asylum psychologist who thought she had a shot at curing Batman’s insane nemesis The Joker. Obviously that didn’t work out too well.
Harley Quinn is one of the more distinctive super villains to appear in Sony Online Entertainment’s DC Universe Online for several reasons. For one, she started life as a character created solely for the animated Batman cartoon, making the leap into comic book continuity later in life.
She’s also one of the most cosplayed comic book females of all time. Seriously, look up Harley Quinn cosplay in Google. It’s ridiculous.
Players will be able to fight against, alongside, and in some cases as Harley Quinn when DC Universe Online launches next month on the PlayStation 3 and PC.
