Despite their popularity and massive critical acclaim, Vertigo characters don’t usually get their due as action figures, statues or any other such merch, but at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, you could at least get your hands on a brand new rendering of DEATH.
Some envision Death as a grim reaper or dark angel to be feared. But as created by Neil Gaiman for DC Comics’ line of Vertigo comics, the Sandman`s older sister is pretty, perky and always gets the job done. She’s been around since the beginning of time and is exactly the kind of girl you’d want to follow into the unknown. Our 8” figure of Death wears her trademark ankh necklace and comes with a skull-themed display base. The dioramic window box packaging and separate shipper box are dressed with artwork commissioned by Vertigo artist Jill Thompson.

Whatever you think of the third installment to the pre-reboot Spider-Man film franchise, you’ve got to admit that Sideshow’s 12-inch figure of a black-suited Spider-Man is pretty incredible. With a brand new Tobey Maguire head-sculpt included along with a massive fist-shaking Sandman environmental element, the extras just drive home how awesome this figure is.
Not to mention the usual very long list of accesssories!

It’s here! The 19th series of DC Universe figures has arrived. You can find Sandman, The Atom, Hawkman, Lord Naga, Magog and Stargirl in this new wave and they’re all looking great at 6-inch figures. As ever, collect them all and you can use the included parts to make the build-a-figure, which is S.T.R.I.P.E. this time around!
And you can already pre-order the next series, which includes Green Arrow, White Lantern Flash, Reverse Flash, Hawk, Dove (Dawn Granger), Red Arrow and Sinestro, plus the build-a-figure NEKRON for fans of the Lanterns. It ships in January, but you can snag it now.

Fans of the huge (and growing) DC Universe action figure line can now pre-order the nineteenth series of the 6-inch heroes and villains. They’ll be shipping either at the end of this year or the very beginning of 2012, but either way, you can take a look at what’s on offer right here:
