For anybody but Tony Stark, taking the Iron Man costume off and putting it on again would probably be the toughest part of the job (besides occasionally fighting supervillains and saving the world). Fortunately, he’s come up with a solution:
* Authentic and highly detailed Suit-Up Gantry with great movability
* Approximately 15.8in H x 23.6in W x 12in D
* Over 80 points of articulations
* Five (5) mechanical arms including:
* One (1) left side for disarming the forearm armor with movable rolls
* One (1) right side for disarming the forearm armor with movable rolls
* One (1) in the front for disarming the chest armor
* One (1) at the back for disarming the helmet
* One (1) at the back for disarming the rear armor
* Four (4) small mechanical arms for disarming the leg armor
* Double-sided graphics on gantry base
* Three-layered convertible gantry base with light-up functions
* Realistic cables and wires
Naturally, this thing is highly poseable and sized to stand alongside (or around) your 12-inch Sideshow Iron Man figure. This is a high-end item, absolutely perfect for collectors who want to take their superhero set-up to the next level.

At this year’s Comic Con, Sideshow had a ton of great offerings and here’s one of the exclusives they had on display!
Crafted in 1:3, these Iron Man helmets are based on the films designs for Mark V, Mark VI and sidekick (partner?) War Machine. Each one is individually painted and finished, but most impressively, each one also features LEDs in the mask that create a glowing effect from the eyes. If you have a Marvel display or you’re just bummed out about missing this stuff at SDCC, your prayers have been answered!

A pair of awesome War Machine items are on their way a bit later this year! Check ‘em out.
The WAR MACHINE MAQUETTE stands about 20 inches tall, striding into battle and looking absolutely awesome as he does. Based on the character’s striking, powerful look in IRON MAN 2, it’s actually the basis for the design of the film’s costume, used by the creators as a point of reference and now reproduced for the market. Battery-operated lights dot the eyes, chest and repulsors and add an extra touch of realism and accuracy. You can pre-order now and it ships in May!
The WAR MACHINE BUST is 25 inches tall, making it a life-size rendering of the character with shining eyes and a glowing arc reactor. Another item providing the basis of the real costume, it’s one that fans of the film’s design will definitely want to snag. The shoulder-mounted cannon also swivels to give the display a little bit of customiseability. Pre-order it now and get it in the 3rd quarter of this year!

This summer’s hugely successful IRON MAN 2 introduced several new characters and actors, but perhaps the coolest (and most gleefully over-the-top) newcomer was Mickey Rourke as WHIPLASH. And, of course, where there is an awesome character, there must be an awesome figure and this new one from Hot Toys and Sideshow more than fits the bill…
As per usual, the combination of the companies behind the figure have brought it to life in the coolest possible way. Standing 12 inches tall, the figure has a level of detail you’ve gotta see to believe and comes with enough accessories to all but guarantee that you’ll enjoy a pretty unique experience when it comes to both playing and posing. Add that to the fact that the thing even lights up and you’ve got yet another amazing item that should make fans and collectors drool. But if you want even more proof, look no further than the impressive feature list given by Sideshow…

This new 14-inch statue of Iron Man Mark VI from this summer’s IRON MAN 2 has just joined the amazing line of figures from sculpting and statue giants Kotobukiya. Based on the film’s design for the costume, the figure is at the 1:6 scale and stands tall on a base modeled off the Stark Industries Repulsor Transmitter, which emits a glow that illuminates the figure brilliantly. And if that isn’t enough light from a statue like this, then how about the LEDs in the eyes, the chest and the fists? Cast in porcelain, each statue is individually numbered as part of a limited edition! It’s in-stock and ready to go.
And next up we’ve got a pre-order from the Other statue and figure guys: SIDESHOW! Here’s a look!
The Daredevil Comiquette stands at an impressive 22 inches, made out of polystone and featuring all the amazing sculpting you’d expect from Sideshow and Marvel. One of the very cool things about this statue is that it comes with three switch-out epitaphs you can place on the tombstone: one for Jack Murdock, one for Elektra and the last blank so that you can customize it yourself! Which I think is pretty rad. This statue can be pre-ordered now and will be shipping in the beginning of 2011! Enjoy.

The 12-inch ArtFX War Machine statue is the latest ArtFX pre-order we’ve got and it’s as nice a piece as any they’ve ever offered. As per usual, the look is sleek, clean, but perfectly detailed and the pose manages to be brilliantly dynamic even frozen on your display shelf.
Adding to the brilliant look of the statue, War Machine boasts a number of LED lights positioned in the eyes, chest and arms, as well as in the base, built not only to stand on, but in the image of a Repulsor Transmitter (meaning he’s lucky he’s not going flying). Unlike a lot of the other statues on offer, ArtFX has chosen to work in high-quality PVC, which actually looks pretty impressive and has a sheen that the others don’t. Fans of the film or the character on his own should definitely check it out!

If there is one thing to be grateful for in seemingly all of Sideshow’s Iron Man offerings, it’s that they haven’t been afraid to go the extra mile, be awesome and make sure that every item is true to the character’s literal brilliance by using LEDs to light up the eyes and arc reactor. It gives the figure something that truly captures the spirit of the character and the look that Jon Favreau’s films have achieved. Now Sideshow brings us a new addition to the collection with the same awesome features, but priced so that even casual fans can get in on the collecting. Presenting the Iron Man Mark IV 9.5-inch bust:
A truly impressive item, the metallic paintwork is stunning, as are the light-up effects, and the whole build of the statue presents a kind of quiet power that is the antithesis of the man behind the mask, billionaire playboy Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr. in the films). This item is available for pre-order now and ships in June while its counterpart, the similarly-sized War Machine Bust (see below) ships in the 3rd quarter of this year.
They’re just two of a huge collection of Marvel Sideshow collectibles ranging from Carnage to Psylocke, Silver Surfer to Emma Frost, Captain America to Ghost Rider and many, many more. Check ‘em all out!

There’s a new, stunning Sideshow 12-inch figure that’s just arrived and is in-stock following a too-long wait for it to be released. You may already have snagged this one on pre-order, but if you haven’t, or if you’re new to the figure altogether, here’s a look:
Standing 12 inches tall, clad in real fabrics and featuring an uncanny (really!) likeness of Robert Downey Jr., Sideshow’s brought us a rendering of playboy Tony Stark down in his Stark Industries workshop and testing out the inner workings of his Iron Man costume, arc reactor glowing brightly as he powers up his signature weapon, the Repulsor.
Naturally, though, and as is the way with seemingly every Sideshow figure yet released, there are a ton of accessories and alternate parts that come with this item.
