I have noticed a fair amount of the players in our store using the Mobile Stadium to carry and hold their Beyblades. They whip it open and start playing right away….which is cool. Wanna play in the toilet, go ahead. Wanna play at church, go ahead.

Lightning L-Drago Beyblade is AWESOME!
December 6, 2010
Ok….I just played a bunch of beyblade games in our store and Lightning L-Drago is kicking butt. It does have some problems against a few specific opponents (but I’m not gonna tell y’all…keep you guys guessing for now). I also did a little customizing on the L-Drago which I will detail in my next blog post. In the meantime, you can pick up the Lightning L-Drago from our website at www.cmdstore.com. Once you get it, come back to this blog and I will have all the juicy bits that will help you make this forbidden beyblade the ultimate warrior….heck, you should be able to win blindfolded….nuff said.

BEYBLADE: METAL FUSION – BATTLE FORTRESS
October 19, 2010Fan of Beyblades? Well, we’ve got a ton of ‘em: old ones, new ones and some available for pre-order if you want to make sure you guarantee that you get the latest and greatest of the spinning tops. Check ‘em out in our BeyBlade Metal Fusion Section!
We’ve got everything from Dark Bull Red to Storm Pegasus Blue, Earth Eagle to the electronic Dark Wolf, plus launchers, assembly chambers, stadiums and more! If you’re a collector, you’ve come to the right place. And of course, if you’re a super-fan, then there’s even more to see in November when a brand new game–BEYBLADE: METAL FUSION BATTLE FORTRESS–hits shelves! If you haven’t gotten a chance to learn about it, here’s a quick demo review from Platform Nation!
Spinning it’s way to your Nintendo Wii and DS November 9, 2010 is Beyblade Metal Fusion-Battle Fortress. This upcoming game that you may recognize from the TV show or maybe you own a few Beyblades yourself is set to be a great game for fans and that is the only targeted audience I can think of. The game follows a game specific story that has characters from the TV show and you find yourself looking for answers as to where the worlds most powerful Beyblades are disappearing to. The game will have 4 player battle mode that will allow you to play with 3 of your friends or AI. The game is set to have customizable stadiums and various terrains to do battle.
I played this game on the Wii and that is where it should be played as you are attempting to knock out other Beyblades and progress the story. The function of the Wii controller is where this game should be played and I think fans that pick it up on the DS will be disappointed. Now don’t count this game out as there are a lot of fans out there of the TV series and the physical Beyblades themselves, but I found out that I am not in that category after playing the game.
Naturally, you’ll have to play it yourself to truly form an opinion, but for now, learn all you can! And check out the trailer right here!

Beyblade Spins onto the Cartoon Network
June 17, 2010Beyblade Metal Fusion is officially the new big thing, back after a few years off to retool and revamp their toy line, their show and the franchise as a whole. Now it’s poised to take the world by storm in a flurry of spinning tops and whirring spikes. The Dark Bull Red, Storm Pegasus Blue, Dark Gasher Red and tons of other tops are currently available and in-stock, but you can also pre-order upcoming items like Flame Libra Green, Rock Orso or the Super Vortex Battle Set/Battle-pack, arriving in the coming months. Check ‘em out!
Naturally, the game can be played without any of the back-story: some of the tops are heavier and more defense-oriented while others are whirling dervishes armed with plastic points to knock out the competition with speed. It’s a game of both skill and luck for anyone with some spare time and spare tops. But unlike some such playground pastimes, Beyblade Metal Fusion has a plot, characters and a television show sure to be as big a success as the toy collection once its popularity picks up.
Here’s the info from Toon Zone.com:
Cartoon Network has licensed the US broadcast rights to Beyblade: Metal Fusion, the latest iteration in the Beyblade animated franchise, series-producer Nelvana announced today. The deal also gives the network the Australian and New Zealand broadcast rights to the series.
The announcement is part of a clutch of other licensing deals that will put the series on the air in France (via Gulli), Germany (Nickelodeon), the UK (Nicktoons), Benelux (Disney XD), Spain, and (Telecinco and Factoria de Ficcion). It already airs on YTV in Canada.
Nelvana also says it has appointed Hasbro as master toy licensee of for most non-Asian markets, and has signed Hudson Entertainment to develop a video game based on the title for the Nintendo DS and Wii. The game is tentatively set for release during the 2010 holiday season.
But if you can’t wait, here’s a look at the first episode of Beyblade Metal Fusion:
