The AT-AT, or Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport, stands over TWO FEET TALL, in perfect scale with the 3.75-inch Star Wars figures to offer the massive, imposing presence that marked its appearances in the Star Wars Universe–most prominently in the Battle of Hoth.

This figure itself comes with a Speeder Bike figure, as well as an AT-AT Driver and can lower and retract a rappelling line from its underside. More than that, though, it boasts “light-up reciprocating chin guns, a light-up command section, battle and vehicle sounds and firing side-mounted blasters to bring the excitement of the intergalactic saga straight to your living room!” And what’s more, you can fit a whopping 19 figures in the AT-AT body, meaning that, on top of a toy, it might make for some pretty decent themed storage space!

But! there’s some even bigger and more surprising news out there for Star Wars fans with the release of a deleted scene from Return of the Jedi. Here’s a look!

If you can’t watch at work or wherever you’re reading this, then never fear! The Telegraph has a run-down right here:

The announcement was made at the recent Star Wars convention in Orlando, Florida, before the scene was shown.
In it, Darth Vader is seen walking down a corridor, and into a lift, before repeatedly calling a drawn out “Luke” and adding “join me on the dark side”.

He says: “My son it is the only way.”

A dark hooded Skywalker, with only the lower half of his face visible and cast into relief by stark lighting, looks down at the light sabre in his hands.

He then makes some adjustments to it with a tool, before changing hands and lighting the sabre’s green blade.

In the last few frames of the scene, he is shown to be sat in a cave in the desert, with R2D2 and C3PO waiting for him outside.

Some fans said the scene was significant because its dark tone added to the intriguing uncertainty of whether Luke would remain with the jedi or go to the dark side.

So goes the description on this new LEGO Star Wars piece. If you’ve got a lot of patience and a lot of skill, you can try your hand at building this 232-piece hyena droid and go after the Republic in a vehicle of your own construction.

According to reviews, however, this is a figure meant for the older set: for kids, it’s not exactly a rough-and-tumble figure and the wings are known to be a little delicate (some even say ‘flimsy’!), which suggests it’s destined for display rather than play. Of course, if you or your child is the kind of person who takes some enjoyment from rebuilding any crashed ships, then I would say that this is definitely a good one on which to hone your skills! Enjoy!

Besides having one of the best names in the movies, Nute Gunray also boasts some of the strangest character design of the speaking roles.

In this figure set, he is joined by Onaconda Farr, a droid pilot, and 2 battle droids to bring you one of the coolest-looking of LEGO’s Star Wars items. The item boasts an opening cock-pit and retractable landing gear (which, yes, you will be building) as well as a secret Nute-concealing back hatch and is comprised of 257 pieces, meaning you’ll have a good time building it without dissolving into the madness that surely awaits the 800+ piece collections.

The separatists’ shuttle set is available now and reviews are generally favourable, saying that the design is a good one and the difficulties of putting it together are relatively few! A great choice for older Star Wars aficionados or their kids.
