Good news for Tiger Woods: He’s finally getting his own place!

On his blog Monday, Woods broke the news that he’ll soon be moving into his new Jupiter, Fla., home, which you might be able to spot in the photograph above. As previous reports have indicated, the home includes a 6,400-square-foot gym/media room/bar, an elevator, a reflecting pond and a lap pool.

But Woods being a golfer and all, he’s even more excited about the practice facility around the house. “It’s phenomenal,” he wrote. “Working with my team, I designed the short-game facility and oversaw its construction. It features four greens, six bunkers with different depths and kinds of sand, a video center and a putting studio. If no wind is blowing, the longest club I can hit is a 7-iron.”

The practice facility also has multiple grass types, allowing Woods to practice his short game from 150 yards and in on any conceivable PGA Tour surface. And while Woods’ entire game is a mess at this point, it’s a safe bet that he can straighten out his drives a lot easier than he can regain his touch on and around the greens.

Woods has not won since 2009, and has not won a major since the 2008 U.S. Open. Working with new swing coach Sean Foley, he’s trying to regain confidence on the course. His next tournament will be this week at the Cadillac Championship at Doral in Miami.

“[M]y swing is still a work in progress, and it takes time to get comfortable with everything,” Woods wrote. “It’s hard to implement all these changes. I just have to keep moving forward.” And this is a nice place to do so, yes?

Now, the greens and bunkers are nice and all, but here’s the best part: “It’s also set up so I can hit shots out of my second-story studio,” Woods wrote. Think about that: He’s going to hit balls off the second floor of his $50 million house. You need further proof the guy’s not married any more, there it is; wives generally aren’t keen on their men swinging his clubs in the house, even if they are 14-time major winners.

Bottom line: This is hands-down the slickest bachelor pad in human history. And if Tiger asks you to help him move, don’t just settle for the usual beer and pizza afterward. Hold out for a little more.

Seve Ballesteros, golf great passes away at 54

May 8, 2011

Associated Press, May 08, 2011.

Seve BallesterosSeve Ballesteros was a genius with a golf club in his hands, an inspiration to everyone who saw him create shots that didn’t seem possible. The Spaniard’s passion and pride revived European golf and made the Ryder Cup one of the game’s most compelling events.

His career was defined not only by what he won, but how he won.

“He was the greatest show on earth,” Nick Faldo said.

Ballesteros, a five-time major champion whose incomparable imagination and fiery personality made him one of the most significant figures in modern golf, died Saturday from complications of a cancerous brain tumor. He was 54.

“Seve was one of the most talented and excited golfers to ever play the game,” Tiger Woods said on Twitter. “His creativity and inventiveness on the golf course may never be surpassed.”

A statement on Ballesteros’ website early Saturday said he died peacefully at 2:10 a.m. local time, surrounded by his family at his home in Pedrena. It was in this small Spanish town where Ballesteros first wrapped his hands around a crude 3-iron and began inventing shots that he would display on some of golf’s grandest stages.

“Today, golf lost a great champion and a great friend. We also lost a great entertainer and ambassador for our sport,” Jack Nicklaus said.

Tiger Woods new Girlfriend: Alyse Johnston

March 22, 2011

Alyse Laht JohnstonTiger Woods has a new girlfriend in Alyse Lahti Johnston.   But he and the 22-year-old aren’t getting too serious. Yet.

One of Alyse’s pals and former classmates says the following:

“She sent a BBM to a mutual friend of ours saying she didn’t consider herself Tiger Woods’ girlfriend. They were just having a good time hooking up.”

Alyse Lahti Johnston, an aspiring golf pro, recent Ohio State graduate and Nordegren doppelganger. Though she doesn’t look like your typical lady golfer, the girl’s got some connections.

Coincidentally, she is the stepdaughter of Alastair Johnston, who is on the board of IMG in addition to several other golf-related businesses. IMG, of course, is the sports agency that represents Woods. When Johnston decided to begin training for the LPGA tour, her stepfather hired a private coach who then introduced her to the 35-year-old golfer.  Tiger is BACK….

Tiger Woods Accident or Domestic Violence?

December 1, 2009

Was Tiger Woods car accident result of Tiger Woods affair???

So…Mr Clean is not really so clean!  Looks like Tiger got caught with his hands in the cookie jar!  Even a Billionaire can’t cover this up!

Here is the latest news report:

With pressure mounting to come clean about his mysterious early-morning car crash and allegations of hanky-panky with a Gotham party girl, an embattled Tiger Woods yesterday ducked Florida cops for the fourth day in a row and bailed out of his own golf tournament.

But police vowed to get to the bottom of why the 33-year-old golf titan had to be treated for facial cuts and bruises Friday morning. Woods drove his 2009 Cadillac Escalade out of the driveway of his mansion on Deacon Circle in Windermere, Fla., slamming into a fire hydrant and a tree.

His wife, Swedish former au pair Elin Nordegren Woods, 29, told police she smashed out the SUV’s windows with a golf club to save her husband, even though the vehicle’s air bags never inflated (it’s more like she gave him a beating with his own club and he took it like a man).

“It’s our job to investigate crashes,” Florida Highway Patrol Capt. Mark Welch told the Herald, “and that’s what we’re going to do. We’re looking at every aspect of the crash to find out its specific cause.”

Woods announced yesterday he was dropping out of the Chevron World Challenge “due to injuries.”

“I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week,” the world’s top-ranked golfer said in a statement. “I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I’m sorry that I can’t be there.”

Woods canceled a press conference this afternoon to promote the Thousand Oaks, Calif., tourney that benefits his charity, the Tiger Woods Foundation.

PGA Tour officials yesterday declined to comment on published reports by the National Enquirer that Woods had an affair with 34-year-old Manhattan events planner Rachel Uchitel, slicing his five-year marriage into the rough.

Uchitel has admitted meeting Woods, but denies they’ve hooked up romantically. The busty bombshell is now under the wing of famed Los Angeles legal eagle Gloria Allred.

Uchitel’s mother, Susan Bishop, declined to comment on the media frenzy, telling the Herald last night, “She’s a wonderful daughter and I support her.”

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Woods’ accident at 2:29 a.m. Friday and arrived on scene in four minutes, according to an incident report.

A male neighbor who called 911 advised them Woods was lying unconscious on the ground.

Celebrity gossip Web site TMZ has reported Woods was hurt prior to the crash in a post-Thanksgiving dust-up with his wife over Uchitel.

In a statement he released Sunday, Woods said his wife “acted courageously.”

“Any other assertion,” he added, “is absolutely false.”

Woods has retained criminal defense attorney Mark NeJame – dubbed “Orlando’s Own Johnny Cochran” by Sunshine State media. NeJame’s office said he would not be making any comment on Woods yesterday.

As far as Woods’ lack of cooperation with investigators, Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Welch said under Florida law, “He’s only required to provide us with specific information, which he has complied with: driver’s license, registration, proof of insurance.”

Jim Solomons, spokesman for Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings, told the Herald his department has responded to Woods’ address 11 times since 2004, but the calls for service have “all been alarm-related. None have been criminal in nature.”

Oh yeah…don’t forget that we have some Tiger Woods Action Figures.  Tiger’s wife should have bought the action figure and beat the crap out of it instead (or at least use it as a Tiger Voodoo doll).

The return of Tiger Woods to the Golf world is a welcome to the economy.  Can this one single man stimulate a slowing golf market?  The answer is:  YES.   Tiger’s return to golf will definitely add some much need exposure and money to the Golf Tours.  I stopped watching golf on TV when Tiger was not playing and with his return I plan to follow his games.

With that said….we just got a shipment of Tiger Woods Pro Shots Golf Action figures….just click the image below to get a better view.
