It’s been a busy couple days for James Mangold who directed The Wolverine. Just a couple days ago word began to circulate that Will Yun Lee, Brian Tee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Rila Fukushima and Tao Okamoto were joining the cast. That flurry of action covered the Japanese characters in the story but left some key spots to fill.
And now a big one has dropped. Twitch has learned that Jessica Biel has been offered the role of Viper, a complex character who at one point was a peer of Logan’s as well as an enemy. She was a major player in criminal organization Hydra and, in one story arc, blackmailed Logan / Wolverine into marrying her. This could be interesting.
