Thundercats’ LION-O is now a deluxe 14-inch action figure from Mezco Toys.
Wielding the mystic Sword of Omens, the figure measures “over 20 inches tall from the tip of his upraised, extended sword to the soles of his Thunderian boots” and features 7 points of articulation. It captures the look of the hero as he appeared in the hugely-popular (now cult classic) Thundercats series. His window box is collector-friendly and any fan of the classic show will be pleased to add this guy to their display shelves.

TWO new Ame-Comi figures of the TEEN TITANS’ RAVEN are headed your way and can be pre-ordered now!
Raven has always been trapped between Good and Evil and both sides are represented in the new released from Ame-Comi. With the coming reboot, it’s no surprise that we’re getting a great new wave of figures from DC Direct. Here’s one you can pre-order now, arriving in 2012!

If you’ve been following the massive DC Universe event leading up to the reboot, then you’ll definitely want to see what the new FLASHPOINT figures have in store. Check these out!
BATMAN (Thomas Wayne), WONDER WOMAN, CYBORG and THE FLASH make up the first series of Flashpoint 6-inch figures and they all look fantastic. Here’s the official write-up.

Designed by the great Adam Hughes and sculpted by Jack Mathews at DC Direct, this brand new statue of the beautiful Hawkgirl is the latest addition to the beloved COVER GIRLS OF THE DC UNIVERSE collection, which celebrates some of DC’s greatest women through Hughes’ pin-up style art.
Hawkgirl, the winged warrior and partner to Hawkman, is a deadly fighter and a valuable member of the Justice League. She flies into battle wielding her signature mace, an incredible, heavy weapon that can “pulverize concrete and smash steel”.
Here are the specs: An original design by Hughes, this statue is hand-painted, cold-cast in porcelain, measures approximately 9.3″ high x 4.25″ wide x 4.25″ deep (including the base), and is packaged in a 4-color box.

The serial-killing monster of a man returns to the world of figures in a form that’s…well, a lot less scary than what you might be used to. Mezco has created a rendering of Jason Voorhees that captures the whole look, but with a new spin that only the free-form artists at the studio could dream up.
Standing a full 10 inches tall, Jason comes with his trademark hockey mask (fully removable), three camper-killing weapons and features both real cloth clothing and fourteen points of articulation to make him excellent for posing and display. If you’re a fan of the franchise in which he has been both villain and anti-hero, this is one you’ll definitely want to get your mitts on.

Just a long-distance head’s up! We’re going to be hosting our next Montreal ToyCon on OCTOBER 23rd, 2011!
The next Toy and Comic book show has been confirmed: October 23rd 2011. Our past show was held in the summer of 2011 and it was a huge success.
What is the Montreal ToyCon?
The Montreal ToyCon is a one day convention with over 55 tables of toy and comic book dealers selling their merchandise. Each dealer specializes in various product lines so there will be a wide selection of collectible toys and comic books: GI-Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, Lego, Superheroes, Anime, and various vintage toys.
The show will also have exhibits from various clubs: Lego Club, Sci-Fi Club, Costume Clubs, and more.
